Typically, felony and misdemeanor cases are filed in county courts, therefore county criminal record searches are one of the most important and impactful sources for uncovering  up-to-date criminal records.

RedSky County criminal record investigations are performed at the county-level court of each requested jurisdiction by our clients.  All searches are dispatched to our on-site researchers in real time who perform a physical hands-on approach searching the court’s index and dockets to ensure a fast response.

RedSky performs a standard ten-year record search where available for misdemeanor and felony records. Some states only allow record searches for a period of seven years from file date.  RedSky complies with Federal and state law when reporting records to a customer therefore reducing the error rate substantially and eliminating frivolous lawsuits. Upon request, RedSky can perform court research beyond seven years in jurisdictions where available. Extended search requests can result in additional fees to the customer .

RedSky Resources offers statewide criminal records searches through both the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) and some state repositories.

The Administrative Office of the Court is a statewide database, which is the state court administrators’ consolidated access by which RedSky can research an individual’s case results for state/county court records. The AOC requires all counties to submit case information to the system.

A state repository is a law enforcement database that contains some or all records of law enforcement activity related to an individual. A statewide search may yield information from multiple counties in a given state that report to the repository. Information is not 100% complete as all counties or law enforcement agencies do not report information in a timely manner or have missing identifiers.

A federal criminal records search is conducted by researching individual US District Court files, similar to county criminal searches. There are 94 federal courts across the U.S., and RedSky offers the option to search by district or nationwide. Federal criminal records are not available at the county or state level.

Through our accessible researchers nationwide, RedSky is able to retrieve documents on individuals and for businesses in need of information and/or proof of any and all matters of public record. There are additional fees for standard and certified copies. Available documents for retrieval:
